Stacy Lineker

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Stacy embodies a deep belief in the transformative power of genuine therapeutic relationships on the journey towards healing.

​

In her practice, she creates a nurturing and secure environment where individuals feel supported as they navigate their path to positive change.

 

Stacy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Counselling Psychology Degree with Honours from Yorkville University.

​

With a client-centered and strength-based approach, Stacy collaborates with clients of all ages to address life’s complexities. She tailors her therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual, taking an integrative approach to healing drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Play-Informed Therapy, Narrative therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy among others.

 

Stacy firmly believes that fostering connections is essential for personal growth and change.

 

This encompasses building a strong therapeutic alliance, nurturing the mind-body connection, and cultivating meaningful connections with important individuals in one’s life.

 

Stacy is currently welcoming new clients and specializes in working with children, adolescents, teens, couples, families, and individuals.

Stacy resides in Cochrane with her young family and embraces outdoor activities such as hiking, running, snowboarding. She finds balance and rejuvination in her daily yoga practice.
